BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 8 August 2025 - With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam, a total of 108 officers of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) were promoted. Eight officers were promoted from Acting Major to Substantive Major, 29 officers were promoted from Substantive Captain/ Lieutenant (RBN) to Substantive Major/Lieutenant Commander (RBN), five officers were promoted from Substantive Captain to Acting Major, 10 were officers promoted from Acting Captain/ Lieutenant (RBN) to Substantive Captain/Lieutenant (RN), 54 were officers promoted from Lieutenant/ Lieutenant Junior Grade (RBN) to Substantive Captain/ Lieutenant (RBN), an officer was promoted from Substantive Captain to Substantive Major (Special Commission) and an officer was promoted from Substantive Lieutenant to Substantive Captain.
