RBLF COMMANDER HONOURED WITH MAROON BERET, AIRBORNE WING

MALAYSIA, KUALA LUMPUR, Wednesday 4 March 2015 - The Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Brigadier General Pg Dato Paduka Aminan bin Pg Haji Mahmud was on Wednesday presented the Maroon Beret and Honorary Airborne Wing of the 10th Paratrooper Brigade (10th PARA) by the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM).

Army Chief, General Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi Raja Mohamed Noor presented the beret and Airborne Wing at the Dataran Mindef.

The Maroon Beret and Airborne Wing are the highest form of recognition from the army's elite para-brigade awarded to military and government leaders.

Brigadier General Pg Dato Paduka Aminan is currently on an official visit to the country to strengthen military cooperation and ties between RBLF and ATM.

Earlier, he made a courtesy call on Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein and ATM chief, General Tan Sri Zulkifeli Mohd Zin.
