SWORD PRESENTATION CEREMONY FOR THE RBAirF NEWLY COMMISSIONED OFFICERS FROM INTAKE 19

Rimba Air Base, Friday, 05 February 2021 - Sword Presentation Ceremony for the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) newly commissioned officers from Intake 19 was held at the Rajawali Lounge, RBAirF Headquarters. Present as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Commander of RBAirF. Also present at the ceremony were Deputy Commander and the RBAirF's Board of Executive Officers.

The ceremony commenced with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Ustaz Haji Mohd Said bin Haji Mohd Yusof, the Religious Teacher of RBAirF. The Commander of RBAirF was then presented the sword to the 19 newly commissioned officers consisting of 12 male and 7 female officers. The ceremony was concluded with the recital of Doa Selamat.

The inaugural Sword Presentation Ceremony is to honour the newly commissioned officers as well to encourage the officers in upholding the responsibilities entrusted to them with enthusiasm and commitment upon joining RBAirF.

MAJLIS PENYERAHAN PEDANG BAGI PEGAWAI-PEGAWAI TUDB YANG BARU DITAULIAHKAN DARI PENGAMBILAN KE-19

Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba, Jumaat, 05 Februari 2021- Majlis Penyerahan Pedang bagi Pegawai-Pegawai Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) yang baru ditauliahkan dari Pengambilan Ke-19 telah diadakan di Ruang Legar Rajawali, Markas TUDB. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Pemerintah TUDB. Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Timbalan Pemerintah dan Badan Eksekutif TUDB.

Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al Fatihah yang dipimpin oleh Ustaz Haji Mohd Said bin Haji Mohd Yusof, Guru Agama dari TUDB. Pemerintah TUDB seterusnya menyerahkan pedang kepada 19 pegawai-pegawai yang baru ditauliahkan yang terdiri daripada 12 pegawai lelaki dan 7 pegawai wanita. Majlis kemudian diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Selamat.

Majlis Penyerahan Pedang julung kalinya ini diadakan bagi memberi penghormatan kepada pegawai-pegawai yang baru ditauliahkan serta memberi semangat kepada pegawai-pegawai tersebut untuk memikul tanggungjawab yang telah diamanahkan dengan penuh semangat dan komited setelah menyertai TUDB.
