JAKARTA, REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA, 11 June 2025 – Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II, attended the Indo Defence 2025 Expo & Forum, held from 11 to 14 June 2025 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, Republic of Indonesia. The delegation from the Ministry of Defence, Brunei Darussalam comprised Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and His Excellency Brigadier General (Retired) Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abdul Kadir, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of Indonesia.
The Opening Ceremony of the Indo Defence 2025 Expo and Forum was officiated by His Excellency General (Retired) Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, marking the official launch of one of Southeast Asia’s largest defence exhibitions.
Held biennially, the Indo Defence 2025 Expo & Forum is an exhibition of defence technology and industry that showcased a diverse range of cutting-edge military products, demonstrating advanced capabilities across the main domains of land, aerospace, maritime, and security. This year’s event was held concurrently with the Indo Aerospace 2025 Expo & Forum and the Indo Marine 2025 Expo & Forum, which brought together approximately 1,180 defence companies from 42 countries, featuring 32 national pavilions and attracting 37,000 delegates and trade visitors.
With the theme “Defence Partnership for Global Peace and Stability,” the exhibition served as a strategic platform for fostering defence diplomacy, dialogue and strengthening cooperation whereby the Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II also had the opportunity to engage with counterparts from ASEAN Member States as well as other international partners attending the exhibition.
The Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II also held a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Lieutenant General (Retired) Dr. Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia, congratulated him on the successful hosting of the Indo Defence 2025 Expo and Forum, as well as discussed strategic and regional matters of mutual interest. Both ministers also underscored the long-standing defence relations between the two countries and reiterated commitment to further strengthening the cooperation.
The Indo Defence 2025 Expo & Forum also featured international seminars, technical product presentations, live demonstrations, and networking opportunities to strengthen cooperation among global defence leaders and industry experts.

MENTERI DI JABATAN PERDANA MENTERI DAN MENTERI PERTAHANAN II MENGHADIRI INDO DEFENCE 2025 EXPO & FORUM
JAKARTA, REPUBLIK INDONESIA, 11 Jun 2025 – Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Mejar Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri dan Menteri Pertahanan II, telah menghadiri Indo Defence 2025 Expo & Forum yang berlangsung dari 11 hingga 14 Jun 2025 di Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Kemayoran, Republik Indonesia. Rombongan Kementerian Pertahanan ke pameran tersebut disertai oleh Yang Mulia Mejar Jeneral Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) dan Tuan Yang Terutama Brigedier Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abdul Kadir, Duta Besar Istimewa dan Mutlak Negara Brunei Darussalam ke Republik Indonesia.
Majlis Pembukaan Rasmi Indo Defence 2025 Expo & Forum telah disempurnakan oleh Yang Terhormat Jenderal (Purn.) Prabowo Subianto, Presiden Republik Indonesia, menandakan pelancaran rasmi salah satu pameran pertahanan terbesar di Asia Tenggara.
Dianjurkan setiap dua tahun sekali, Indo Defence 2025 Expo & Forum merupakan sebuah pameran teknologi dan industri pertahanan yang mempamerkan pelbagai produk ketenteraan terkini, memperlihatkan keupayaan canggih dalam domain-domain utama iaitu darat, aeroangkasa, maritim, dan keselamatan. Pameran tahun ini diadakan serentak dengan Expo & Forum Indo Aerospace 2025 dan Expo & Forum Indo Marine 2025 dan menghimpunkan kira-kira 1,180 syarikat pertahanan dari 42 buah negara, menampilkan 32 pavilion negara, serta menarik kehadiran seramai 37,000 delegasi dan pelawat perdagangan.
Dengan tema “Defence Partnership for Global Peace and Stability,” pameran ini berfungsi sebagai platform strategik dalam menggalakkan diplomasi pertahanan, dialog dan memperkukuh kerjasama dimana Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri dan Menteri Pertahanan II juga telah berkesempatan berinteraksi dengan rakan-rakan sejawat dari Negara-Negara Anggota ASEAN serta rakan antarabangsa lain yang menghadiri pameran tersebut.
Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri dan Menteri Pertahanan II juga telah mengadakan perjumpaan dua hala dengan Yang Terhormat Letnan Jenderal (Purn) Dr. Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Menteri Pertahanan Republik Indonesia, mengucapkan tahniah atas kejayaan penganjuran Indo Defence 2025 Expo & Forum serta membincangkan perkara strategik dan serantau yang menjadi kepentingan bersama. Kedua-dua menteri turut menegaskan hubungan pertahanan yang telah lama terjalin serta memberikan komitmen untuk terus memperkukuh kerjasama pertahanan dua hala.
Pameran Indo Defence 2025 Expo & Forum turut menampilkan seminar antarabangsa, pembentangan produk teknikal, demonstrasi secara langsung, serta peluang membina rangkaian bagi memperkukuhkan kerjasama di kalangan pemimpin pertahanan dan pakar industri dari dunia sejagat.
