​MUARA, Thursday 10 October 2019 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held a lunch event for all 26 retired Regiment Sergeant Majors (RSMs) from all units of RBAF in conjunction with RBAF’s 58th Anniversary held at the Royal Brunei Navy’s (RBN) Warrant Officers', Chief Petty Officers' and Petty Officers' Mess. 

The event began with a group photo and a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah. The event continued with opening remarks by Warrant Officer 1, Awg Rashid bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Force Sergeant Major (FSM) RBAF. He highlighted that this event must be continued by all mess committees throughout the RBAF in order to gain and share experiences and knowledge from the retired RSMs.

The event concluded with a presentation of tokens of appreciation to all current and retired RSM’s from all units of the RBAF. This event was held to honour the devotion, sacrifice and contribution of all the retired RSM’s throughout their service with the RBAF.

ABDB ADAKAN MAJLIS MAKAN TENGAHARI BAGI MANTAN SARJAN MEJAR 

MUARA, Khamis, 10 Oktober 2019 - Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Makan Tengahari untuk 26 mantan Sarjan Mejar sempena Ulang Tahun ABDB Yang Ke-58 Tahun di Mes Pegawai Waran, Bintara Kanan & Bintara, Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB). 

Majlis Makan Tengahari telah dimulakan dengan sesi bergambar ramai dan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah. Majlis diteruskan lagi dengan ucapan alu-aluan daripada Pegawai Waran 1 Awg Rashid bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Sarjan Mejar ABDB. Beliau menyatakan bahawa majlis ini perlu diteruskan oleh semua komiti mes setiap unit ABDB untuk memperolehi dan berkongsi pengalaman dan pengetahuan dari semua mantan Sarjan Mejar ABDB.

Majlis Makan Tengahari diakhiri dengan penyampaian hadiah dan cenderahati sebagai tanda penghargaan kepada semua Sarjan Mejar dan mantan Sarjan Mejar semua unit ABDB yang telah menyumbangkan kesetiaan dan pengorbanan di sepanjang perkhidmatan mereka bersama ABDB.
