SUNGAI AKAR CAMP, Friday 24 May 2013 – A total of 18 military officers have successfully completed the Writing Skills course 2013 today. The certificate presentation ceremony took place at the Command and Staff College building, Sungai Akar Camp.
The guest of honour for the ceremony was Colonel Pengiran Haji Maiddin Bin Pengiran Haji Said, the Commandant of the Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
In his speech, the Guest of Honour congratulated all the participants for successfully completing the writing skills course and encouraged all to promote the culture of reading as well as learning how to write and express their ideas clearly and concisely.
The two-week course began on the 13 May and is one of the mandatory courses for officers ranked Second Lieutenant to Captain. The course was organised by the Leadership and Management Centre, Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
