RBAF LEADERSHIP DEFINITION

Leadership is the art of leading self, team, leaders and organisation towards achieving a desired goal.

In RBAF, leadership provides purpose, direction and motivation to self, team, other leaders and organisation to perform tasks and mission while upholding the Malay Islamic Monarchy Philosophy.

Values are the principles, convictions and standards that influence and guide our behaviour and judgement. The RBAF Core Values are Taqwa (Piety), Loyalty, Courage and Professionalism.

    ABILITIES

    RBAF leaders must have the ability to Command, Lead and Manage self, team, other leaders and organisation to achieve organisational goals. (CLM)

    STYLE

    Leadership styles refer to the behavioural approach employed by leaders to influence, motivate, and direct others. In RBAF, the leadership style should always reflect the fundamentals of the Malay Islamic Monarchy philosophy.

      TRAITS

      Traits are the personal qualities that shape an effective leader. In RBAF, leaders must be honest, trustworthy, responsible and sincere.

      SKILLS

      RBAF leaders must acquire the skills to lead effectively. To do that, all leaders must continue to learn and develop the skills to perform better in all levels of leadership role. These skills include Analytical skills and Communication skills. (AC)
