Thursday, 12 October, 2023 – The Ministry of Defence held the Hajat prayer, the recitation of Surah Yasin and prayer ceremony at all suraus in Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) garrisons, bases and camps, including Masjid Pulau Baru-Baru today to seek for the protection from Allah Al-Mighty for the safety of the Palestinian people and the country. This event was conducted simultaneously with the involvement of military personnel and civil servants from the Ministry of Defence.
The ceremony was held after the congregational Fardhu Maghrib Prayer, followed by Sunat Hajat Prayer as well as the recitation of Surah Yasin and special prayers by the Imams from respective surau. Also present at the suraus are the senior officials both from the Ministry of Defence and the military officials.

KEMENTERIAN PERTAHANAN MENGADAKAN SEMBAHYANG SUNAT HAJAT, MEMBACA SURAH YASIN DAN DOA KHAS BAGI MEMOHON PERLINDUNGAN DAN KESELAMATAN UNTUK RAKYAT DAN NEGARA PALESTIN
Khamis, 12 Oktober 2023 – Kementerian Pertahanan telah mengadakan majlis sembahyang sunat hajat, membaca surah Yasin dan doa khas bagi sama-sama memohon perlindungan dan keselamatan rakyat dan negara Palestin di kesemua suraus garison, pangkalan dan perkhemahan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) termasuk Masjid Pulau Baru-Baru pada hari ini. Acara ini dijalankan serentak dengan melibatkan anggota-anggota tentera dan kakitangan awam Kementerian Pertahanan.
Majlis tersebut dilaksanakan selepas Sembahyang Fardhu Maghrib berjemaah, diikuti dengan Sembahyang Sunat Hajat serta bacaan surah Yasin dan doa khas. Turut hadir disurau-surau tersebut adalah pegawai-pegawai kanan awam dan tentera.
