PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday 28 Oct 2013 – Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) marked another milestone for its inaugural opening of the Basics Logistics Officers Course. The course was officiated by the Commandants of the Training Institute, Lt Col Hasmee bin Haji Abd Wahab at the School of Military Trade.
Also present were the SO1 Logistics, Lt Col (L) Haji Mohd Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin and Major Muhd Suradzin bin Haji Muhd Yusof, Officer Commanding of School Military Trade, TI RBAF, instructors and course participants.
During the opening speech, the guest of honour gave his remark on the course being the first of its kind in RBAF, which the logistics course being sent overseas, and this course would be a 6 weeks course to provide the officers with the basic necessary knowledge skills and attitude. This course would also provide the know how which used to be learning through On-The- Job training, by asking experienced personnel who had been in the job long enough such as the warrant officers.
This course also aims to improve the current situation whereby to have a better and proper management system through the proper procedural manual by the book. This course will be divided into two phases, phase one would be integrated logistic module and phase two would be special to corps.
The commandant also informed that there will be potentially an Intermediate Logistics Officers Course in the future.
MAJLIS PEMBUKAAN KURSUS ASAS PEGAWAI LOGISTIK YANG PERTAMA
PENANJONG GARISON, Isnin 28 Okt 2013
– Institute Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (IL ABDB) pada
hari ini mengadakan majlis pembukaan Kursus Asas Pegawai Logistik.
Kursus ini di rasmikan oleh Lt Kol Hasmee bin Haji Abd Wahab, Komandan
Institut Latihan ABDB di Sekolah Pertukangan Tentera.
Turut
hadir adalah PT1 Logistik, Lt Kol (L) Haji Mohd Sarif Pudin bin
Matserudin dan Mejar Muhd Suradzin bin Hj Muhd Yusof, Pegawai Memerintah
Sekolah Pertukangan IL ABDB, beserta jurulatih dan penuntut kursus.
Dalam
ucaptama beliau, kursus ini adalah julung kali di adakan, yang mana
kursus ini selalunya di hantar keluar negeri, dan kursus 6 minggu ini di
hasrat kan untuk membekalkan pegawai tersebut dengan asas kemahiran,
pengetahuan dan tingkah laku sebagai seorang pegawai logistik, yang mana
perkara ini di perolehi dengan bertanya kepada anggota yang
berpengalaman di unit-unit seperti pegawai waran.
Kursus
ini juga bertujuan untuk memperbaiki keadaan dengan membuat kerja
dengan lebih terurus menggunakan manual prosedur yang betul mengikut
buku.Kursus ini akan di adakan dalam 2 fasa, iaitu fasa pertama iaitu
modul logistik bersepadu dan fasa kedua khusus kepadat eras.
Komandan, dalam ucapan beliau juga menyatakan kemungkinan besar Kursus Pertengahan Pegawai Logistik juga akan dilaksanakan.
