MALAYSIA, LANGKAWI, Thursday 19 March 2015 – The 13th Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA’15) was recently launched by The Most Honorable Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

In attendance at LIMA’15 were several delegations from the Ministry of Defence, Brunei Darussalam headed by Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, Deputy Minister of Defence.

Also present were Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Datin Paduka Hajah Suriyah binti Haji Umar, Permanent Secretary, Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Wardi bin Haji Abdul Latip, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force  and Colonel Pg Norazmi bin Pg Haji Muhammad, Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy.  

Held biennially since 1991, LIMA’15 is a dedicated maritime and aerospace exhibition, catering to the defence, civil and commercial sectors. Over 500 exhibitors from 35 countries are currently participating in LIMA’15 with 16 country pavilions featured, including Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, United Kingdom and United States. LIMA’ 15 was held back to back with the 9th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting. KDB DARULEHSAN is participating in the multilateral maritime exercise held in conjuction with LIMA’15.
