BOLKIAH GARRISON, Sunday, 14 July 2019 – The Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held Thanksgivings prayers in a ceremony conducted at the Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garrison in conjunction with the 73rd birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
The guest of honour at the Thanksgiving Ceremony in Bolkiah Garrison was the Chief of Staff of the RBAF, Captain Spry bin Haji Serudi@Seruji, RBN. Also present were senior officers, officers and staff of the Ministry of Defence and RBAF.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Sergeant Zalini bin Haji Sahdan from the RBAF Military Cadets. The ceremony continued with the mass Maghrib prayer, recitation of Surah Yaasin and special prayer led by Imam Shuib bin Abdullah, Imam of Surau Ad-Difa, Bolkiah Garrison. The ceremony concluded with a mass Isya’ prayer.
Similar thanksgiving ceremonies were also held simultaneously at all suraus of the RBAF camps.
MAJLIS DOA KESYUKURAN SEMPENA ULANG TAHUN HARI KEPUTERAAN KDYMM PADUKA SERI BAGINDA SULTAN DAN YANG DI-PERTUAN NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM KE-73 TAHUN
BOLKIAH GARISON, Ahad, 14 Julai 2019 – Kementerian Pertahanan dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Doa Kesyukuran di Surau Ad-Difa’ Bolkiah Garison bersempena dengan Ulang Tahun Hari Keputeraan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam yang ke-73 tahun.
Tetamu kehormat bagi Majlis Doa Kesyukuran yang berlangsung di Bolkiah Garison ialah Ketua Staf ABDB, Kepten Spry bin Haji Serudi@ Seruji, TLDB. Turut hadir ialah pegawai–pegawai kanan, pegawai-pegawai dan kakitangan Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan ayat-ayat suci Al-Quran oleh Sergeant Zalini bin Haji Sahdan dari Pasukan Kadet Tentera. Majlis diteruskan lagi dengan Solat Fardhu Maghrib berjemaah, bacaan Surah Yaasin dan doa khusus yang diketuai oleh Imam Shuib bin Abdullah, Imam Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garison. Majlis diakhiri dengan Solat Fardhu Isya’ berjemaah.
Majlis yang sama juga diadakan secara serentak di semua surau perkhemahan ABDB.
