RIMBA AIR BASE, Friday, 31 October 2014 – In a presence of a modest gathering at the Rimba Air Base today, six young air force officers who have completed their flying training were presented their pilot’s wings from the Commander Royal Brunei Air Force Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Wardi bin Haji Abdul Latip.
The graduated officers were led by Maj (U) Hismawadi bin Hj Md Said, Commanding Officer of Training Wing, RBAirF.
The establishment of the Air Movement Centre (AMC), Brunei Air Force was drawn up to witness the Wing Presentation Ceremony.
With the RBAirF Commander at the ceremony stood Maj (U) Hismawadi bin Haji Mohd Said, Commanding Officer of Training Wing, RBAirF as well as families and relatives of the wings recipients.
The recipients of pilot wings were 791 Capt (U) Ak Abd Aziz bin Pg Dato Paduka Haji Abd Wahab, 832 Lt (U) Asma Ahmad Farisulamin bin Haji Mohd Sultan, 922 Lt (U) Muhammad Adib bin Haji Hashim, 952 Lt (U) Mohd Khairuddin bin Mohd Ali, 958 Lt (U) Aizat bin Jaimie and 978 Lt (U) Sya Abd Qadirulisyam bin Mustafa.
Prior to the presentation of wings, the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah was read by Ustaz Haji Osman bin Mohd Nor and ended with Doa Selamat prayer followed by a group photo session. After this, the air force pilots will be posted to Operations Wing, RBAirF for further training.
