JERUDONG, Friday 6 Dec 2013 – The last days of the Brunei Darussalam Defence International Exhibition (BRIDEX) 2013 and static display at the Royal Brunei Air Force Rimba Base drew more crowds from the public and government officials.
The exhibition, especially, saw a huge attraction at the Sikorsky S-70i Black Hawk display at the Exhibition Hall 2. The newly unveiled S-70i also received visits from the Minister of Communications, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Hamzah Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdullah Bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Haji Bakar and the Deputy Minister of Finance, Dato Paduka Awang Haji Bahrin bin Abdullah.
The Ministry of Defence officials, Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, Deputy Minister of Defence and members of the Defence Executive Committee also took the opportunity to tour the BRIDEX Exhibition halls, establishing networks with friends and partners, in regional and international affairs for supporting Bridex 2013.
BRIDEX 2013 saw familiar faces and also new comers for everybody to come together, renew the friendship and meeting new acquaintances. As Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa said at the BRIDEX Night 2013 that BRIDEX 2013 is everybody’s chance to network with industry players – both buyers and sellers, which formed as an integral part of the system. Without them, BRIDEX 2013 will not serve its meaningful purpose. Such networking would not end here at BRIDEX but will continue in the long time to come which is an important part of building commercial relations.
