BOLKIAH GARRISON, Monday 20 May 2013 -  Colonel Yashpal Singh Ahlawat, the outgoing Non-resident Defence Adviser of the Republic of India to Brunei Darussalam, today made a farewell call to the Commander of RBAF Major General Dato Paduka Seri Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saifol Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin.


With him, doing his introductory call, was his successor Colonel Praveen Chhabra. Whilst in Brunei Darussalam from 19 to 21 May, the two made also their rounds of calls to the Commanders of the Royal Brunei Navy, the Royal Brunei Air Force and the Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei land Forces. 

Colonel Yashpal Singh Ahlawat first visited Brunei Darussalam for his introductory calls on 14 December 2010. Upon handing-over his position as the India’s Defence Adviser Colonel Ahlawat will return to India to attend the prestigious Higher Defence Management Course in Secunderabad, India.
