BELAIT, Friday, 8 June 2018 – A personnel from the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF),
14192 Sergeant (Sgt) Mohammad Ade Dzulkarnaen bin Awang embraced the Islamic faith at Kampong Panaga Seria, Kuala Belait, today.
Present at the ceremony as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma’awiah, Acting Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces. Also present were Brigadier General Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Commander of the RBLF, officers from the RBAF and the Islamic Da’wah Centre as well as families.
The ceremony began with the recital of verses from Al-Qur’an and the declaration of Syahadah (declaration of faith) from Sgt Mohammad Ade Dzulkarnaen led by an officer from the Islamic Da’wah Centre.
Highlighting the ceremony was the Dikir Marhaban as well as the sprinkling of bunga rampai and gifts presentation which were delivered by the Guest of Honour and invited guests to the family members.
Sergeant Mohammad Ade Dzulkarnaen bin Awang is the third RBAF personnel to convert to Islam this year and the 113th since 2006.
ANGGOTA TDDB MEMELUK AGAMA ISLAM
BELAIT, Jumaat, 8 Jun 2018 – Seorang anggota Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), 14192 Sarjan Mohammad Ade Dzulkarnaen bin Awang telah memeluk agama Islam sebagai agama baru beliau di Kampong Panaga Seria, Kuala Belait.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat pada majlis tersebut ialah Brigadier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma’awiah, Pemangku Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei. Turut hadir ialah Brigadier Jeneral Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei, pegawai-pegawai ABDB dan Pusat Dakwah Islamiyyah serta ahli keluarga.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan ayat-ayat suci Al-Quran diikuti dengan lafaz syahadah oleh Sarjan Mohammad Ade Dzulkarnaen yang dipimpin oleh pegawai dari Pusat Dakwah Islamiah.
Majlis diserikan lagi dengan laungan dikir marhaban dan taburan bunga rampai serta penyampaian cenderahati daripada Tetamu Kehormat serta jemputan yang hadir kepada keluarga anggota TDDB itu.
