KG BUKIT, TUTONG, Friday 17 February 2017 – Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) personnel Private Erol Fazira bin Labat has embraced Islam today.
He is the second RBAF personnel to convert to Islam this year following the conversion ceremony held at Masjid Kampong Bukit, Tutong.
Present at the ceremony as the guest of honour was the Tutong District Officer, Awang Haji Shamsul Bahrin bin Haji Mohd Hussain. Also present were the Deputy Commander of the RBLF, Colonel Haji Muhd Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Penghulu Mukim Ukong, Ketua Kampong Kg Bukit and officers from the Islamic Da’wah Centre and family members of the convert.
The ceremony began with the recital of verses Al-Qur’an and witnessed Private Erol Fazira and his family members recite their declaration of Syahadah (declaration of faith) led by officers from the Islamic Da’wah Centre. This was followed by the Dikir Marhaban and the sprinkling of bunga rampai as well as gift presentation by the invited guests to the new converts.
ANGGOTA TDDB MEMELUK AGAMA ISLAM
KG BUKIT, TUTONG, Jumaat 17 Februari 2017 – Anggota Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) Soldadu Erol Fazira bin Labat telah memeluk agama Islam dan menjadi anggota ABDB yang kedua memeluk Islam bagi tahun 2017 setakat ini di Majlis Pengislaman di Masjid Kampong Bukit, Tutong.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat pada majlis tersebut ialah Awang Haji Shamsul Bahrin bin Haji Mohd Hussain, Pegawai Daerah Tutong. Turut hadir ialah Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB, Kolonel Haji Muhd Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Penghulu Mukim Ukong, Ketua Kampong Kg Bukit, pegawai-pegawai dari Pusat Dakwah Islamiah serta keluarga.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan ayat-ayat suci Al-Quran diikuti dengan lafaz syahadah oleh Soldadu Erol Fazira beserta keluarga beliau yang dipandukan oleh pegawai-pegawai dari Unit Pengislaman dan Bimbingan Saudara Baru, Pusat Dakwah Islamiah. Majlis diserikan dengan laungan dikir marhaban dan taburan bunga rampai serta penyampaian cenderahati daripada tetamu-tetamu yang hadir kepada para saudara baru.
