BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday 11 November 2015 – For the second consecutive time, the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) was declared as the overall champion in the RBAF Female Personnel Athletics Championship for 2015 with 9 medals, comprising of 7 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze. Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) was the second runner up and the third runner up goes to the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).
The event was held for three consecutive days from 9 until 11 November, at Berakas Garrison, Mini Stadium.
The Closing Ceremony commenced with the parade from all participating units from the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Royal Brunei Airforce (RBAirF), Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) and Ministry of Defence (MINDEF).
Athletes competed in 19 events for three days consecutively. The final event were 4x400m, 100M, 4x100m (Veteran), 4x100m, 4x100m (BMI) and 4x100m (Chain of Command).
The Female Personnel Track and Field Championship was concluded with a prize presentation ceremony by the Guest of Honour, Lt Kol Norsuriati binti Haji Sharbini.
