HONOLULU, HAWAII, UNITED STATES, Thursday, 24 May 2018 – The Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Brigadier General Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh was in the United States for the Land Forces of the Pacific (LANPAC) 2018 Symposium and Exposition from 22 to 24 May 2018.
Themed ‘The Future of Land Forces Integration: Multilateral Approaches Across the Indo-Pacific’, LANPAC 2018 brings together the land force commanders within the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to discuss critical topics including those affecting security and cooperation across the Pacific and the readiness of Land Forces.
This year it was attended by a total of 26 nations and is the highest attendance to date. The event was launched by the Commanding General of US Army Pacific (USARPAC), General Robert Brooks Brown.
During the visit, the Commander of RBLF also had a bilateral meeting with the Commanding General of USARPAC where both sides expressed satisfaction upon the warm and cordial military-to-military relations and looked forward to the continued progress in the bilateral cooperation between the two land forces.
LANPAC Symposium and Exposition is an international event hosted annually by the Association of the United States Army (AUSA). It is a significant platform in highlighting the role of land forces in the Indo-Pacific theatre and their contributions to the joint force in peace and war.

HONOLULU, HAWAII, AMERIKA SYARIKAT, Khamis, 24 Mei 2018 – Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), Brigedier Jeneral Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh telah menghadiri Simposium dan Pameran Tentera Darat Pasifik 2018 di Amerika Syarikat yang bermula dari 22–24 Mei 2018.
Bertemakan, ‘The Future of Land Forces Integration: Multilateral Approaches Across the Indo-Pacific’, LANPAC 2018 membawa pemerintah-pemerintah tentera darat dari rantau Indo-Asia-Pasifik untuk sama-sama membincangkan mengenai isu-isu berkaitan dengan sekuriti dan kerjasama serta kesediaan tentera-tentera darat di Pasifik. Tahun ini LANPAC 2018 telah dihadiri oleh 26 negara dan merupakan kehadiran tertinggi yang disertai. Acara tersebut telah dirasmikan oleh Yang Mulia Jeneral Robert Brooks Brown, Commanding General of the US Army Pacific (USARPAC).
Semasa lawatan ini, Pemerintah TDDB juga telah membuat perjumpaan dua hala bersama Commanding General of the US Army Pacific (USARPAC) dimana kedua-dua belah pihak menyatakan rasa puas hati atas hubungan ketenteraan yang baik dan berharap untuk mencapai kemajuan yang berterusan dalam kerjasama dua hala di antara kedua-dua angkatan tentera.
Simposium dan Pameran Tentera Darat Pasifik adalah merupakan salah satu acara antarabangsa yang dikendalikan oleh Persatuan Tentera Darat Amerika Syarikat pada setiap tahun. Ianya juga merupakan landasan penting dalam menonjolkan peranan angkatan darat di teater Indo-Pasifik, serta sumbangan mereka kepada angkatan bersama semasa aman dan perang.
