BERAKAS, Wednesday 5 December 2012 – Air Regiment had won the Royal Brunei Air Forces (RBAirF) Final Hockey Championship competition for 2012 this afternoon. The championship that began on 3rd December and ended today was held at the Hockey Stadium of the National Stadium Complex in Berakas.
The championship was participated by all wings in the RBAirF. The guest of honour at the finals was the Commander of RBAirF, Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Hj Jofri bin Hj Abdullah.
First runner up went to the Combined Training and Admin Wing while the Logistic Wing took the third place. The highest hockey scorer went to 17616 Kpl (U) Ezrith bin Hj Edin from Air regiment and the best player was 8351 PW1(U) Abu Sufyan bin Metassan from Combined Training and Admin Wing.
The RBAirF hockey championship is a competition which aims to strengthen the comradeship among players while at the same time to showcase the most potential players towards representing RBAirF to compete in the RBAF competition.
KEJOHANAN AKHIR HOKI TUDB 2012

– Rejimen Udara telah menjuarai kejohanan akhir hoki peringkat Tentera
Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) bagi tahun 2012. Kejohanan tersebut telah
bermula pada 3 Disember 2012 dan perlawanan akhir telah berlangsung pada
petang ini di Stadium Hoki, Kompleks Sukan Negara Hassanal Bolkiah.
Kejohanan
tersebut telah disertai oleh semua cawangan di TUDB. Tetamu kehormat
perlawanan akhir tersebut ialah Pemerintah TUDB, Brigadier Jeneral (U)
Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Jofri bin Haji Abdullah.
Tempat
kedua telah diraih oleh Cawangan Gabungan Latihan dan Tadbir manakala
tempat ketiga disandang oleh Cawangan Lojistik. Penjaring terbanyak
disandang oleh 17616 Kpl (U) Ezrith bin Haji Edin dari Rejimen Udara dan
pemain terbaik disandang oleh 8351 PW1(U) Abu Sufyan bin Metassan dari
Cawangan Gabungan Latihan dan Tadbir.
Kejohanan
Hoki Peringkat TUDB adalah merupakan salah satu siri kejohanan
bertujuan untuk meningkatkan semangat setiakawan disamping menonjolkan
pemain-pemain yang berpotensi untuk mewakili TUDB ke peringkat kejohanan
Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei.
