BERAKAS GARRISON, Sunday, 26 May 2019 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces Wives Welfare Body Association (BAKTI) held a Tadarus and Khatam Al-Quran ceremony to commemorate the completion of the nightly ‘tadarus’, which is part of the Ihya Ramadhan activities carried out during this holy month.
The ceremony was hosted by Datin Hjh Rashidah bte Haji Brahim, spouse of the Commander of RBAF, as the President of BAKTI at her residence.
Invited guests included the heads of the BAKTI units and its members. The event commenced with a mass recitation of ‘surahs’ from the Al-Quran, followed by a Takhtim, recitation of dikir and the presentation of ‘bunga telur’ to all whom attended.
Organised as a yearly activity during Ramadhan, the event hopes to build strong community bonds, and to encourage religious devotion to their faith among the BAKTI members.
AHLI-AHLI PERSATUAN BADAN KEBAJIKAN ADAKAN MAJLIS KHATAM AL-QURAN
BERAKAS GARISON, Ahad, 26 Mei 2019 – Ahli-ahli Persatuan Badan Kebajikan Isteri-Isteri Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (BAKTI) telah mengadakan majlis tadarus beramai serta khatam Al-Quran bagi menandakan tamatnya acara bertadarus pada setiap malam sepanjang Ihya Ramadhan.
Majlis dihoskan oleh Datin Hjh Rashidah bte Haji Brahim, isteri kepada Pemerintah ABDB, selaku Yang Di-Pertua BAKTI di kediamannya.
Di antara yang hadir ialah ketua-ketua cawangan unit BAKTI dan ahlinya. Majlis dimulai dengan bacaan surah Al-Quran dan seterusnya bacaan takhtim dan dzikir Marhaban dan juga penyampaian bunga telur kepada pembaca khatam serta semua yang hadir.
Aktiviti ini diungkayahkan setiap tahun di bulan Ramadhan bagi mengukuhkan hubungan tali silaturrahim dan juga meningkatkan amal ibadah di antara para isteri pegawai dan anggota ABDB.
