BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Friday, 28 August 2015 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) hosted the annual Senior Interaction Programme with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) recently.

A total of 36 members of the SAF delegation were assembled to attend a 2-day weekend programme led by the Singapore Chief of Defence Forces, Major General Perry Lim.

Welcoming the SAF Delegation at the Brunei International Airport was the Commander of RBAF, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, also in attendance were other senior representative from MinDef.

The SIP saw senior officers of the RBAF and SAF took part in a friendly golf tournament.

The event that conducted annually and hosted alternately between both armed forces serves as an effort to strengthen the long-standing relationship between both military forces respectively. It also aimed at enhancing cooperation and socio-cultural interaction amongst the senior military officers.
