BOLKIAH GARRISON, Wednesday, 05 October 2022 – Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), received an introductory call from Colonel Seongkyun Lee, Defence Attaché of the Republic of South Korea to Brunei Darussalam. Also present were Acting Chief of Staff RBAF and Director of Intelligence.
During the call, Commander RBAF welcomed and expressed his appreciation for Colonel Seongkyun Lee’s presence at the Ministry of Defence. Both sides expressed their gratitude towards the close defence relations and cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of South Korea fostered through bilateral and multilateral platforms as well as expressed their hopes to further enhance and strengthen defence cooperation between the two sides.
Colonel Seongkyun Lee received his accreditation as the Defence Attaché of the Republic of South Korea to Brunei Darussalam on 25 May 2022.
PEMERINTAH ABDB MENERIMA KUNJUNGAN PENGENALAN DARIPADA ATASE PERTAHANAN REPUBLIK KOREA SELATAN KE NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
BOLKIAH GARISON, Rabu, 05 Oktober 2022 – Yang Mulia Mejar Jeneral Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) menerima kunjungan pengenalan daripada Kolonel Seongkyun Lee, Atase Pertahanan Republik Korea Selatan ke Negara Brunei Darussalam. Turut hadir adalah Pemangku Ketua Staf ABDB dan Pengarah Perisikan.
Semasa kunjungan tersebut, Pemerintah ABDB mengalu-alukan dan merakamkan rasa penghargaan ke atas kehadiran Kolonel Seongkyun Lee ke Kementerian Pertahanan. Kedua-dua pihak merakamkan penghargaan di atas hubungan dan kerjasama dua-hala yang erat di antara Negara Brunei Darussalam dan Republik Korea Selatan melalui platform dua hala dan pelbagai hala serta turut menyuarakan hasrat bagi meningkatkan serta memperkukuh lagi kerjasama pertahanan di antara kedua belah pihak.
Kolonel Seongkyun Lee menerima lantikan sebagai Atase Pertahanan Republik Korea Selatan ke Negara Brunei Darussalam pada 25 Mei 2022.
