BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 07 July 2022 – Yang Mulia Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received a courtesy call from Colonel (Armament Corps) Oliver Tabart, Defence Technology Attache to Brunei Darussalam. Also in attendance were His Excellency Bernard Regnauld-Fabre, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to Brunei Darussalam, Assistant Chief of Staff RBAF and the Director of Intelligence.
During the call, both sides expressed appreciation on the friendly bilateral relations between Brunei Darussalam and the French Republic since the establishment of diplomatic relations on 8 May 1984. Brunei Darussalam places a high value on its relationship with the French Republic that has continued to progress through various avenues, including exchange of visits, port calls, attendance at exhibitions, training and courses, as well as the conduct of the annual Joint Defence Working Committee meetings between both sides.
In the years ahead, the Commander of RBAF hopes both sides will continue to work together in the field of defence technology.
PEMERINTAH ABDB MENERIMA KUNJUNGAN HORMAT DARIPADA COLONEL (ARMAMENT CORPS) OLIVER TABART, DEFENCE TECHNOLOGY ATTACHE KE NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
BOLKIAH GARISON, Khamis, 07 Julai 2022 – Yang Mulia Mejar Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah menerima kunjungan hormat daripada Colonel (Armament Corps) Oliver Tabart, Defence Technology Attache ke Negara Brunei Darussalam. Turut hadir adalah Tuan Yang Terutama Bernard Regnauld-Fabre, Duta Besar Istimewa dan Mutlak Republik Perancis ke Negara Brunei Darussalam, Penolong Ketua Staf ABDB dan Pengarah Perisikan.
Semasa kunjungan hormat tersebut, kedua-dua belah pihak merakamkan ucapan penghargaan terhadap hubungan dua hala di antara Negara Brunei Darussalam dan Republik Perancis yang baik sejak penubuhan hubungan diplomatik pada 8 Mei 1984. Negara Brunei Darusalam amat menitik berat terhadap hubungan diplomatik yang telah dicapai dengan Republik Perancis yang terus maju dalam bidang kerjasama seperti pertukaran lawatan, port calls, kehadiran ke pameran-pameran pertahanan di kedua-dua buah negara, latihan dan kursus-kursus serta melalui mesyuarat dua hala Jawatankuasa Kerja Bersama Pertahanan.
Pemerintah ABDB juga berharap kedua belah pihak akan akan terus lagi mengukuhkan kerjasama dalam bidang teknologi pertahanan pada masa yang akan datang.
