BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 2 June 2016 – Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received an introductory courtesy call from His Excellency Biravij Suwanpradhes, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam.
During the call, RBAF Commander welcomed His Excellency Biravij Suwanpradhes and congratulated His Excellency on his new appointment as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand. Both sides expressed their appreciation for the long and close relationship between Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Thailand, especially the strong defence relationship between the RBAF and the Royal Thai Armed Forces.
The RBAF and the Royal Thai Armed Forces interact regularly through defence exercises, professional exchanges, goodwill visits and military courses. These types of interactions have strengthened the defence cooperation and mutual understanding between Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Thailand.
