BOLKIAH GARRISON, Monday, 23 October 2017 – Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih Bin Abdullah, the Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) today received an introductory call from Colonel Sann Nyant Oo, the new Defence Attaché of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar accredited to Brunei Darussalam.
During the call, the Commander of RBAF welcomed the Defence Attaché and congratulated him on his new appointment. Both sides also commended the warm and cordial military-to-military relation between the two countries.
Over the years, the Defence Services of the Republic Union of Myanmar have been supportive of defence and military events hosted in Brunei Darussalam. This includes their participation in the Brunei Darussalam International Defence Exhibitions (BRIDEX), Brunei International Skill-At-Arms Meet (BISAM) and multilateral exercises under the ADMM and ADMM-Plus platforms.
PEMERINTAH ABDB TERIMA KUNJUNGAN PENGENALAN DARIPADA ATASE PERTAHANAN MYANMAR
BOLKIAH GARISON, Isnin, 23 Oktober 2017 – Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih Bin Abdullah, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) pada hari ini menerima kunjungan pengenalan daripada Kolonel Sann Nyant Oo, Atase Pertahanan Republik Kesatuan Myanmar yang diakreditasikan ke Negara Brunei Darussalam.
Semasa kunjungan tersebut, Pemerintah ABDB mengucapkan tahniah kepada Kolonel Sann Nyant Oo di atas perlantikan beliau. Kedua-dua belah pihak juga melahirkan rasa puas hati di atas hubungan ketenteraan yang baik di antara kedua-dua buah negara.
Pihak Defence Services of the Republic Union of Myanmar telah memberikan sokongan yang berterusan dalam acara-acara pertahanan dan ketenteraan yang diadakan di Negara Brunei Darussalam. Ini termasuk penyertaan dalam Pameran Pertahanan Antarabangsa (BRIDEX), Brunei International Skill-At-Arms Meet (BISAM) dan eksesais-eksais pelbagai hala di bawah platform ADMM dan ADMM-Plus.
