REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Thursday, 1 August 2024 – Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) was conferred Singapore’s highest military award, Distinguished Service Order (Military) by His Excellency Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of the Republic of Singapore at an investiture ceremony held at the Ministry of Defence, Republic of Singapore.
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Thursday, 1 August 2024 – Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) was conferred Singapore’s highest military award, Distinguished Service Order (Military) by His Excellency Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of the Republic of Singapore at an investiture ceremony held at the Ministry of Defence, Republic of Singapore.
Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi was conferred the award in recognition of his significant and outstanding contributions in strengthening the excellent defence relations between the RBAF and Singapore Armed Forces.
Under his leadership, the interactions and cooperation between the two Armed Forces have been strengthened through a wide range of bilateral military activities such as exercises, trainings, courses, meetings and exchange of visits. These extensive interactions have further fostered the rapport and camaraderie between personnel of both armed forces.
Prior to the investiture ceremony, the RBAF Commander also called on His Excellency Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister for Defence, Republic of Singapore.
The RBAF Commander was previously presented the Meritorious Service Medal (Military) [MSM(M)] by His Excellency Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister for Defence, Republic of Singapore on 14 June 2022 during his introductory visit to the Republic of Singapore from 13 June until 15 June 2022.
PEMERINTAH ABDB DIKURNIAKAN DENGAN DARJAH UTAMA BAKTI CEMERLANG (TENTERA)
REPUBLIK SINGAPURA, Khamis, 1 Ogos 2024 – Yang Mulia Mejar Jeneral Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah dikurniakan dengan Anugerah Ketenteraan Tertinggi Singapura, iaitu Darjah Utama Bakti Cemerlang (Tentera) oleh Tuan Yang Terutama Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Presiden Republik Singapura semasa upacara pengurniaan yang berlangsung di Kementerian Pertahanan, Republik Singapura.
Yang Mulia Mejar Jeneral Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi telah dianugerahkan dengan pingat tersebut sebagai pengiktirafan ke atas sumbangan beliau yang sangat bernilai dan cemerlang daIam mengeratkan perhubungan di antara ABDB dan Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Singapura.
Dibawah kepimpinan beliau, interaksi dan kerjasama di antara kedua-dua Angkatan Tentera telah berkembang maju melalui perlaksanaan pelbagai aktiviti ketenteraan seperti eksesais bersama, latihan, kursus, mesyuarat dan lawatan dua hala. Interaksi yang sangat luas ini telah mengeratkan lagi hubungan baik yang sudah lama terjalin di antara para anggota kedua angkatan tentera.
Sebelum upacara penganugerahan tersebut, Pemerintah ABDB juga berkesempatan untuk membuat kunjungan hormat ke atas Tuan Yang Terutama Dr Ng Eng Hen, Menteri Pertahanan Republik Singapura.
Sebelum ini, Pemerintah ABDB telah menerima Pingat Jasa Gemilang (Tentera) yang disampaikan oleh Tuan Yang Terutama Dr Ng Eng Hen, Menteri Pertahanan Republik Singapura pada 14 Jun 2022 semasa beliau membuat lawatan pengenalan ke Republik Singapura mulai 13 Jun hingga 15 Jun 2022.
