SINGAPORE, Sunday 8 May 2016 – Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) called on Major General Perry Lim, Chief of Defence of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).
RBAF Commander is currently in Singapore for the second leg of the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Maritime Security and Counter Terrorism (ADMM-Plus MS & CT) Exercise, which will end on 12 May 2016.
During the call, RBAF Commander thanked the Chief of Defence of SAF for the warm welcome extended, and also expressed his gratitude to SAF for co-hosting the ADMM-Plus MS & CT Exer-cise with RBAF. This truly signifies the close and long-standing defence relationship, as well as the professional cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and Singapore.
Also present during the call were Co-Exercise Director, Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Joint Force Commander, Royal Brunei Armed Forces and the Co-Chair of EWG on Maritime Security, Captain Hj Othman bin Hj Suhaili @ Suhaily, RBN, the Deputy Commander of Royal Brunei Navy.
