PERFORMANCE OPTIMISATION CENTRE, BOLKIAH GARRISON, Saturday, 10 October 2026 – The Performance Optimisation Centre (POC) of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) hosted a delegation from the Centre of Excellence for Soldier Performance (CESP) of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) for the first Twin Spear Programme, held from 7 to 10 October 2026.
The programme was held in conjunction with the Golden Jubilee Celebration of Defence Relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore, reflecting the continued efforts of the RBAF and SAF to explore new avenues of cooperation through the exchange of expertise and experiences to enhance personnel capabilities and performance.
The CESP delegation was led by Lieutenant Colonel Bani Faizal Mohamed bin Bani Fawz Mohamed, Head of the Soldier Fitness Centre, who was accompanied by three other CESP personnel.
The programme included an introductory briefing on POC, a guided tour of the Sports Medicine Clinic, and professional knowledge sharing sessions covering mental resilience, wearable technology and uniforms, fitness testing and training protocols, strength and conditioning, as well as injury prevention.
The delegation also participated in an interactive session during the Fitness Symposium, engaging with Physical Training Instructors from the RBAF and other government agencies through presentations and discussions.
As part of the programme, the CESP delegation also held a discussion session with the Director of the Centre of Science and Technology Research and Development (CSTRAD) to discuss areas of mutual interest and potential future collaboration.
Building on POC’s visit to CESP in May 2025, the programme provided a platform for continued professional engagement and the exchange of best practices in soldier performance. Discussions also explored opportunities for professional attachments and exchange programmes to support future capability development.
PUSAT OPTIMA KECERGASAN TENTERA MENERIMA DELEGASI ANGKATAN BERSENJATA REPUBLIK SINGAPURA BAGI PROGRAM TWIN SPEAR
PUSAT OPTIMA KECERGASAN TENTERA, BOLKIAH GARISON, Sabtu, 10 Oktober 2026 – Pusat Optima Kecergasan Tentera (POKT), Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB), telah menerima delegasi daripada Centre of Excellence for Soldier Performance (CESP), Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Singapura (ABRS), sempena Program Twin Spear yang diadakan buat pertama kali pada 7 hingga 10 Oktober 2026.
Program ini bersempena Sambutan Jubli Emas Hubungan Pertahanan antara Negara Brunei Darussalam dan Republik Singapura yang mencerminkan usaha berterusan ABDB dan ABRS dalam meneroka ruang kerjasama baharu melalui perkongsian kepakaran dan pengalaman bagi meningkatkan keupayaan serta prestasi anggota tentera.
Delegasi CESP diketuai oleh Yang Mulia Leftenan Kolonel Bani Faizal Mohamed bin Bani Fawz Mohamed, Ketua Soldier Fitness Centre, yang turut disertai oleh tiga orang anggota daripada CESP.
Pengisian program merangkumi taklimat pengenalan mengenai POKT, lawatan ke Klinik Perubatan Sukan serta sesi perkongsian kepakaran dalam bidang daya tahan mental, teknologi boleh pakai dan pakaian seragam, ujian kecergasan dan protokol latihan, latihan kekuatan dan pengkondisian fizikal serta pencegahan kecederaan.
Delegasi CESP turut menyampaikan pembentangan dan menyertai sesi perbincangan interaktif dalam Simposium Kecergasan bersama Jurulatih Jasmani daripada ABDB serta agensi-agensi kerajaan lain.
Dalam rangka program tersebut, delegasi CESP turut mengadakan sesi permuzakarahan bersama Pengarah Pusat Penyelidikan dan Perkembangan Sains dan Teknologi (P3ST) bagi membincangkan bidang-bidang kepentingan bersama serta potensi kerjasama pada masa hadapan.
Sebagai susulan kepada lawatan POKT ke CESP pada Mei 2025 lalu, program ini menjadi platform bagi meneruskan interaksi profesional dan perkongsian amalan terbaik dalam bidang prestasi anggota tentera. Perbincangan turut meneroka peluang penempatan profesional dan program pertukaran bagi menyokong pembangunan keupayaan pada masa hadapan.
