PENANJONG GARISSON, Friday, 19 August 2016 – A passing out parade for a total of 146 male recruits of the 156th intake and 59 female recruits of the 52nd intake was held today at the Parade Square of the Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) in Penanjong Garisson. The ceremony marked the conclusion of the recruits Basic Military Training (BMT).
The Guest of Honour at the event was Datin Paduka Dr Hajah Norlila binti Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. Also in attendance were First Admiral Pg Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pg Muhammad, Acting Commander of RBAF, Services Commanders, military directors, Commandants and other members of RBAF as well as family members of the recruits.
During the ceremony, the Guest of Honour inspected the parade, delivered a speech and presented the awards to excellent instructors and recruits who performed well during the training.
