BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday 21 May 2015 – The Official Handing over of keys of the newly constructed two blocks of ‘F’ Flats at Berakas Garrison was convened at the project site on this afternoon.
The event was officiated with the Mock Key presentation by the guest of honour, Awang Abu Sufian bin Haji Ali, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Defence Policy and Development), Ministry of Defence to Colonel Haji Muhd Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, who is the Acting Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force and Berakas Garrison Commander.
Also in attendance were the Director of Development and Work Services, Senior Military staff, staff of Directorate of Development and Work Services, Team of Project Consultants and the Contractors.
The above facility was the first Medium rise vertical Housing project undertaken by the Directorate of Development and Work Services to house 56 housing units dedicated for the Military. These 56 residential units are housed in 2 separate tower blocks rising up to 8 stories high. Each housing unit occupies a floor area of 162 sqm having 3 Bed rooms with 2 Toilets with a spacious Living, Dining hall, Kitchen, laundry, maid’s room and store. Apart from that, each tower block also has been allocated with a common ‘Bilik Ibadah’ and ample car parking slots for the occupants as well as for the visitors.
The construction works of this project was completed in early January 2015 by the Contractor WLW developer & Trading Company
SdnBhd and the construction cost of the project was approximately BND11 million.
The Consultants engaged for this project are Abdul Ghani Arkitek as the Architectural Consultant, HAHD Engineering as the Civil& Structural Consultant, Regional Consultants as the M&E Consultant and HZ Associates as the Quantity Surveyor. This project is carried under National Development Plan 10.
DUA BLOK FLAT UNTUK ANGGOTA ABDB SIAP DIBINA
BERAKAS GARISON, Khamis, 21 Mei 2015 – Dalam usaha memberikan keselesaan dan kemudahan kepada anggota-anggota Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB), projek bagi pembinaan dua blok Flat ‘F’ di kawasan Berakas Garrison yang bernilai BND11 juta telah siap dibina.
Majlis penyerahan kunci bagi dua blok tersebut yang berlangsung di Berakas Garison disempurnakan oleh Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap (Dasar dan Pembangunan Pertahanan), Awang Abu Sufian bin Haji Ali yang kemudiannya diserahkan kepada Pemangku Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei dan Pemerintah Berakas Garrison, Kolonel Haji Muhd Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan.
Pembinaan projek yang siap dibina oleh Kontraktor WLW Developer and Trading Company Sendirian Berhad pada bulan Januari 2015 yang lalu merupakan projek pertama ABDB yang bertemakan ‘Medium Rise Vertical Housing’ dikendalikan oleh Jabatanarah Pembangunan dan Perkhidmatan Kerja yang mana ‘Medium Rise Vertical Housing’ ini akan menempatkan 56 unit rumah khusus bagi anggota-anggota ABDB.
Unit kediaman tersebut ditempatkan di dua blok menara berasingan yang berketinggian lapan tingkat. Setiap unit perumahan mempunyai keluasan 162 meter persegi dilengkapi dengan tiga bilik tidur, dua tandas, bilik tamu, bilik makan, dapur, dobi, bilik pembantu rumah dan stor.
Selain itu, setiap blok menara juga turut dilengkapi dengan Bilik Ibadah dan tempat letak kereta yang luas bagi penghuni-penghuni dan juga para pengunjung.
Bagi projek tersebut, Abdul Ghani Arkitek telah dilantik selaku arkitek utama, HZ Associates selaku Konsultan Juruukur Bahan, HAHD Engineering selaku Konsultan Sivil dan Struktural, Regional Consultants selaku Konsultan Mekanikal dan Elektrikal dan LSL Sendirian Berhad sebagai kontraktor utama.
