BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Tuesday 20 May 2014- The Official Dinner of the 4th ASEAN Chiefs of Military Medicine Conference (ACMMC) was held last night at the Rizqun International Hotel, Gadong.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF).
Also in attendance was Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Yussof bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Deputy Commander of RBAF and Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces and other invited guests.
The guests are initially treated to a silat performance accompanied by Gendang Lapan which was followed by a speech by the Chief Medical Officer of the RBAF, Lt Col Dr. Mohd Hafizul bin Awg Haji Mohd Hassan.
The highlight of the official dinner is the presentation of awards and gifts of appreciation to all the delegates including the prizes for the best presentation during the the Young ASEAN Military Medical Officer (YAMMO) Scientific Programme which was held earlier in the day.
