BERAKAS, Wednesday 3 December 2014 – Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council (MS ABDB) won the gold medal in the top spinning team category of the 2nd Brunei Darussalam National Games at the Top Spin Arena of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium Sports Complex in Berakas.
The silver medal went to Temburong District and Brunei-Muara District took the bronze medal.
In the singles category, Tutong District’s Abdullah Bakar won the gold, Samrin bin Moslem of MS ABDB (silver) and Mohd Farhan bin Haji Dollah of MS ABDB (bronze).
The doubles category gold medal went to Kamal bin Moslem and Moryamin bin Haji Tujoh of Brunei-Muara District after beating Sabri Moslem and Khairunizam Hj Dollah of MS ABDB in the final. The bronze medal went to Suhaili bin Haji Karim and Misir bin Haji Serudin of Brunei-Muara District.
MS ABDB’s Rosmin bin Haji Nawang won the “Gurau Perseorangan” category after he managed to defeat Brunei-Muara District’s Haji Tengah bin Haji Abdullah in the final. Haji Mat Zain bin Haji Lamit of Brunei-Muara District settled for the bronze medal.
Haji Harun bin Haji Junid, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs presented the medals to the winners.
