BOLKIAH GARISON, Friday 18 Oct 2013 – The Ministry of Defence held Ibadah Korban and Aqiqah Ceremony at the Ministry of Defence Surau in Bolkiah Garrison inconjuction with Hari Raya Aidil Adha celebration.
The guest of honour at this ceremony was the Deputy Minister of Defence, Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat.
Also present were members of Defence Executives Committee, Military and Civilian Directors as well as Officers and personnel of both the Ministry of Defence and RBAF.
This year 4 buffalos and 13 goats were sacrified. The sacrificed meats were distributed to the invited Heads of Villages, RBAF personnel and MINDEF civilian staff.
Total overall sacrificed meat during the Eid Adha and Tasyrie’ days this year included 24 buffalos, 5 cows and 29 goats.

KEMENTERIAN PERTAHANAN ADAKAN MAJLIS KORBAN DAN AQIQAH HIJRAH
BOLKIAH GARISON, Jumaat 18 Okt 2013
– Kementerian Pertahanan petang ini telah mengadakan Majlis Ibadah
Korban dan Aqiqah peringkat Bokiah Garison bersempena sambutan Hari Raya
Aidil Adha. Majlis berlangsung di Surau Kementerian Pertahanan, Bolkiah
Garison.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat pada majlis ini ialah Timbalan Menteri Pertahanan, Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat.
Turut
hadir ialah ahli-ahli Komiti Eksekutif Pertahanan, Pengarah-Pengarah
Tentera dan Awam serta pegawai dan kakitangan Kementerian Pertahanan dan
anggota-anggota ABDB.
Tahun
ini sebanyak 4 ekor kerbau dan 13 ekor kambing dikorbankan.
Daging-daging korban kemudiannya diagih-agihkan kepada Ketua-Ketua
Kampong, anggota-anggota ABDB dan kakitangan awam Kementerian
Pertahanan.
Jumlah
korban ABDB bagi keseluruhan unit-unit dan perkhemahan disepanjang hari
raya aidiladha dan hari-hari Tasyrie’ adalah sebanyak 32 kerbau, 5 sapi
dan 29 kambing.
