REMPAYOH, BELAIT, Saturday, January 17, 2015 – The two missing personnel of the Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (3Bn RBLF) Lance Corporal Suffiandi bin Eji and and Private Mohd Fairin bin Tangkap whom have been separated from the group patrol on January 15, 2015 while patrol in the area was found on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 1205 noon.
Both personnel are healthy. They were evacuated by the Royal Brunei Air Force helicopter and were taken to the Lumut Camp Medical Center where both personnel are given medical examination. The families of the two personnel have been eagerly waiting for their arrival since they have been informed of this incident on January 15, 2015.
The Search and Rescue operations were conducted by the Special Tasks Platoon 3Bn RBLF, assisted by the Gurkha Reserve Unit K9 Unit. The Commander of the RBLF, Colonel Pg Dato Paduka Aminan bin Pg Haji Mahmud participate search for activities in the area so that both members found today
