PARIS, Tuesday, 18 October 2022 – Yang Mulia Brigadier General (Retired) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abd. Kadir, Deputy Minister of Defence, attended the EURONAVAL International Exhibition 2022, held from the 18 to 21 October 2022 at Paris Le Bourget Exhibition Centre. Accompanying the Deputy Minister was Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Strategy), Haji Adi Ihram bin Dato Paduka Haji Mahmud.
The opening ceremony was inaugurated by His Excellency Senator Sebastian Lecornu, Minister of Armed Forces, Republic of France. The EURONAVAL International Exhibition 2022 saw participation from 444 exhibitors and 34 countries, showcasing the latest updates on defence industry development, bringing the world’s most advanced technologies, systems and services in various defence and security fields.
The Deputy Minister of Defence also held bilateral calls with Admiral Christophe Lucas, Deputy Director General for International Strategic Relations and Dr Emmanuel Chiva, Director General for Armament to discuss defence relationships between both sides as well as taking the opportunity to discuss various strategic issues of mutual interest, which includes current global and regional security situation.
The EURONAVAL 2022 is a prestigious international exhibition hosted by the Republic of France Ministry of Defence, and under the patronage of 6 defence companies, with support from the France Armed Forces. Ministry of Defence attendance at this exhibition provides an ideal platform for industry engagement in defence technologies and systems, vital for realising capability development within the Ministry of Defence and the RBAF.

PERTAHANAN 28th EURONAVAL 2022
PARIS, Selasa, 18 Oktober 2022 – Yang Mulia Brigedier Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abd. Kadir, Timbalan Menteri Pertahanan menghadiri Pameran Antarabangsa EURONAVAL 2022, yang diadakan daripada 18 hingga 21 Oktober 2022 yang bertempat di Paris Le Bourget Exhibition Centre. Turut sama menghadiri pameran tersebut ialah Haji Adi Ihram bin Dato Paduka Haji Mahmud, Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap (Dasar and Strategi).
Majlis pembukaan telah dirasmikan oleh Tuan Yang Terutama Senator Sebastian Lecornu, Menteri Angkatan Tentera, Republik Perancis (Minister of Armed Forces, Republic of France). Sebanyak 444 syarikat dan 34 negara telah mengambil bahagian dalam Pameran Antarabangsa EURONAVAL 2022 yang mempamerkan perkembangan industri pertahanan termasuk teknologi, sistem dan perkhidmatan yang terkini dalam pelbagai bidang pertahanan dan keselamatan.
Timbalan Menteri Pertahanan juga telah mengadakan perjumpaan dua hala dengan Admiral Christophe Lucas, Deputy Director General for International Strategic Relations dan Dr. Emmanuel Chiva, Director General for Armament bagi membincangkan hubungan pertahanan serta mengambil peluang untuk membincangkan pelbagai isu strategik yang berkepentingan bersama termasuk situasi keselamatan global dan serantau.
EURONAVAL 2022 ialah pameran antarabangsa berprestij yang dianjurkan oleh Kementerian Pertahanan Republik Perancis dengan bantuan bersama Angkatan Bersenjata Perancis. Penglibatan Kementerian Pertahanan di pameran ini adalah penting dalam meningkatkan kefahaman tentang perkembangan industri pertahanan demi merealisasikan pembangunan keupayaan Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB.
