BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday 26 Sept 2013 – The Ministry of Defence received an informal visit this afternoon from the Second Minister for Defence His Excellency Mr Chan Chun Sing, Ministry of Defence, Republic of Singapore.
In this visit, His Excellency Mr Chan visited the revamped Royal Brunei Armed Forces Museum where he toured the galleries which exhibits various military equipment and activities as well as Brunei’s history.
The RBAF Museum was officially opened on 1st June by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in conjunction with RBAF 52nd Anniversary. The visit significantly aims in continuing the long established defence relations between both countries.
Welcoming His Excellency Mr Chan during the informal visit was the Permanent Secretary (Defence Policy and Development), Colonel (Rtd) Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Azmansham bin Pengiran Haji Mohamad; Commander of the RBAF, Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin; Deputy Commander RBAF, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah and Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force, Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Yussof bin Haji Abd Rahman.
