REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Monday, 22 October 2018 – Ten officers from the Ministry of Defence, who were previously awarded the Supreme Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Scholarship and the RBAF Scholarship, departed for the Republic of Singapore today to participate in the 10th Brunei-Singapore Defence Scholars Development Programme (BSDSDP) 2018 – Alumni.
The delegation, headed by Dayang Susie Haslinda @Shazwana Humaira Na’asya binti Abdullah, Head of the Scholarship Department, Directorate of Administration and Manpower, comprised of five military officers and five civilian officers.
The Brunei-Singapore Defence Scholars Development Programme (BSDSDP) was inaugurated in 2007 as part of the initiative to contribute to the personal and professional development of the scholarship recipients from the Ministry of Defence Brunei and the Ministry of Defence Singapore. In conjunction with the programme’s 10th year anniversary, the Ministry of Defence Brunei and the Ministry of Defence Singapore are celebrating the collaborative achievements between the two nations through the involvement of past BSDSDP participants in the 10th Brunei-Singapore Defence Scholars Development Programme 2018 – Alumni (10th BSDSDP – Alumni).
The 10th BSDSDP – Alumni will be held for nine days from 22 to 30 October 2018, where two phases will be held: the Singapore Phase will be held from 22 to 26 October 2018, followed by the Brunei Phase from 26 to 30 October 2018.
In addition, forty-six other BSDSDP alumni members from Brunei, comprising of eighteen military officers and twenty-eight civilian officers, will participate in the dialogue session, reflection session and Closing Ceremony during the Brunei Phase on 29th October 2018.

PEGAWAI-PEGAWAI AWAM DAN TENTERA KEMENTERIAN PERTAHANAN HADIRI 10TH BRUNEI-SINGAPORE DEFENCE SCHOLARS’ DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME 2018 – ALUMNI
REPUBLIK SINGAPURA, Isnin, 22 Oktober 2018 – Seramai sepuluh orang pegawai Kementerian Pertahanan lepasan penerima biasiswa Kementerian Pertahanan berlepas ke Singapura untuk menghadiri 10th Brunei-Singapore Defence Scholars Development Programme 2018 – Alumni.
Delegasi yang diketuai oleh Dayang Susie Haslinda @Shazwana Humaira Na’asya binti Abdullah, Ketua Bahagian Biasiswa, Jabatanarah Pentadbiran dan Tenaga Manusia, terdiri daripada lima pegawai tentera dan lima pegawai awam.
Brunei-Singapore Defence Scholars Development Programme (BSDSDP) mula diadakan pada tahun 2007 sebagai salah satu inisiatif untuk menyumbang kepada pembangunan peribadi dan professional penerima-penerima biasiswa Kementerian Pertahanan Negara Brunei Darussalam dan Republik Singapura. Memandangkan tahun ini ialah kali ke-10 program tersebut diadakan, Kementerian Pertahanan Negara Brunei Darussalam dan Republik Singapura bekerjasama dalam meraikan pencapaian kerjasama di antara kedua buah negara melalui penglibatan alumni peserta program BSDSDP dengan mengadakan 10th Brunei-Singapore Defence Scholars Development Programme 2018 – Alumni (10thBSDSDP-Alumni).
10th BSDSDP-Alumni akan diadakan selama sembilan hari mulai 22 hingga 30 Oktober 2018, di mana fasa di Singapura bermula 22 hingga 26 Oktober 2018, diikuti dengan fasa di Negara Brunei Darussalam mulai 26 hingga 30 Oktober 2018.
Tambahan pula, empat puluh enam pegawai alumni BSDSDP yang lainnya di Negara Brunei Darussalam (terdiri dari lapan belas pegawai tentera dan dua puluh lapan pegawai awam) hanya akan ikut serta di dalam sesi dialog, sesi reflection dan Majlis Penutup fasa di Negara Brunei Darussalam yang akan diadakan pada 29 Oktober 2018.
