BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday 31 October 2014 – In glorifying the new Islamic year 1436 Hijrah, the Ministry of Defence celebrate the event at the Ministry of Defence Surau in Bolkiah Garrison.Guest of Honour at this event was Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Mejar General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah.
The event began with a mass subuh prayer followed by a special religious talk delivered by Ustaz Haji Mail bin Haji Awg Besar, an invited speaker from the Islamiah Da’awah Centre. The title of the lecture was “Bersama Mendukung Undang-Undang Allah” where stressed on the Implementation of Syariah in Brunei Darussalam, Person who supports positively and that does not support, the History of the Implementation of Syariah and the Procedure of life with Islamic values.
After the lecture the event was continued with the recitation of Ratib Al-Attas and ended with solat sunat Dhuha.
