BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Wednesday 17 July 2013 – A delegation from the Malaysian Armed Forces Command and Staff College (MAFCSC) conducted a three-day comparative study tour in Brunei Darussalam from 17-19 July 2013. Led by Kept TLDM Ee (Yee) Tai Peng, the three-day tour began with a visit to the Ministry of Defence where the delegates were briefed on the Defence White Paper, organisation and roles of the RBAF, roles and functions of the JFHQ and ADMM plus  HADR & MM exercise experience.

Hosted by the Defence Academy RBAF, the delegates were also invited for Majlis Berbuka Puasa  with the Commander of the RBAF,  Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin at the Officers’ Mess, Berakas Camp.

The second day of the tour saw the delegation visit the Oil and Gas Discovery Centre (OGDC) and the Billionth Barrel Monument. The visit serves to introduce the delegation towards the history of SHELL petroleum as well as learn more about the oil and gas industry in Brunei.
