TUTONG, Friday, 15 January 2021 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces Military Cadet (RBAF MC), established on 9 January 1971, held a Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony at the Ma’had Islam Brunei Hall, Tutong in conjunction with its Golden Jubilee Anniversary.
Present as the guest of honour was Lieutenant Colonel Muhd Suradzin bin Haji Muhd Yusof, Commanding Officer of the Royal Brunei Malay Reserve Regiment. Also present at the ceremony were officials from the Ministry of Education, Institute of Higher Education and RBAF Military Cadet personnel.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by the guest of honour, recitation of Surah-Surah by personnel of the RBAF Military Cadet, followed by doa khatam.
The ceremony then proceeded with Dikir Marhaban and presentation of certificates and souvenirs to 64 participants of Khatam Al-Quran by the guest of honour and concluded with Doa Selamat.
MAJLIS KHATAM AL-QURAN SEMPENA SAMBUTAN JUBLI EMAS KADET TENTERA ABDB
TUTONG, Jumaat, 15 Januari 2021 – Kadet Tentera Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (KT ABDB), yang ditubuhkan pada 9 Januari 1971, telah mengadakan Majlis Khatam Al-Quran di Dewan Besar Ma’had Islam Brunei, Tutong sempena sambutan Jubli Emas Kadet Tentera ABDB.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat ialah Leftenan Kolonel Muhd Suradzin bin Haji Muhd Yusof, Pegawai Pemerintah Askar Simpanan Melayu Diraja Brunei. Turut hadir ialah pegawai-pegawai dari Kementerian Pendidikan, Institusi Pengajian Tinggi dan anggota-anggota Kadet Tentera ABDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah diketuai oleh Tetamu Kehormat, bacaan Surah-Surah oleh anggota-anggota Kadet Tentera ABDB dan seterusnya doa khatam.
Majlis kemudian diteruskan dengan Dikir Marhaban serta penyampaian sijil dan cenderahati kepada 64 orang peserta Khatam Al-Quran oleh Tetamu Kehormat dan diakhiri dengan bacaan doa selamat.
