BOLKIAH GARISON, Monday 25 January 2016 – The Deputy Minister of Defence, First Admiral (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit received an introductory visit at the Ministry of Defence by Admiral Dato’ Seri Panglima Ahmad Kamarulzaman bin Haji Ahmad Badaruddin, Chief of Royal Malaysia Navy.
During the visit, Deputy Minister of Defence congratulated Admiral Dato’ Seri Panglima Ahmad Kamarulzaman for his recent appointment as Chief of Royal Malaysia Navy. The Deputy Minister appreciated the Chief of Royal Malaysian Navy for making Brunei Darussalam as the first country in his series of introductory visit to ASEAN countries.
Both the Deputy Minister of Defence and the Chief of Royal Malaysia Navy recalled the excellence close defence cooperation between Royal Brunei Armed Forces and Royal Malaysia Armed Forces through regular interactions and professional exchanges, secondment of Royal Malaysia Armed Forces officers at Royal Brunei Armed Forces unit, attendance to professional courses and embedment of Royal Brunei Armed Forces Officers at the peacekeeping mission of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon under the Malaysian battalion.
The introductory visit concludes with exchange of momento between the Deputy Minister of Defence and the Chief Royal Malaysia Navy.
