BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday 29 August 2013 – His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, also the Minister of Defence, consented to receive in audience the Asean Ministers of Defence attending the Asean Defence Ministers’ Meeting and 2nd Asean Defence Ministers’ Meeting-Plus (2nd ADMM-Plus).
Present during the audience was His Royal Highness Prince Haji AI-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office.
Also in attendance were the Chairman of the ADMM and 2nd ADMM-Plus, Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Awg Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, Minister of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office, and Dato Paduka Awg Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, the Deputy Minister of Defence.
On separate audience Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha also consented to receive in audience some of the spouses of the defence ministers, who are here for the ADMM and the 2nd ADMM-Plus, Included in the spouses entourage during the audience were Mrs Dualismi Pumomo Yusgiantoro, spouse of the Minister of Defence, Republic of Indonesia; Tao Toeum, spouse of the Deputy Minister and Minister of National Defence, Kingdom of Cambodia; Mrs Onodera Yoshie, spouse of the Minister of Defence of Japan; Mrs Thanda Phichith; spouse of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence of Thailand; and Madam Tran Thi Loc, spouse of Minister of National Defence, Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Also present at the audience ceremony were Datin Dayang Hajah Noryasimah binti Abdullah, spouse of the Minister of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office; and Pengiran Datin Hajah Jamilah binti Pengiran Haji Mohd Yussof, spouse of the Deputy Minister of Defence.
