BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 2 October 2020 - The Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) today held a Friday Halaqah event in conjunction with the 27th Civil Service Day at Surau Ad-Difa ’, Bolkiah Garrison.
The Friday Halaqah event which began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar was followed by Tadarus Al-Qur’an, Ratib Al-‘Attas, Sunat Dhuha prayers, tazkirah and a recital of a special doa in conjunction with the 27th Public Service Day. The theme of the 27th Public Service Day celebration is “Integrity and Innovation Public Service Catalyst for National Development”.
Present at the event were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Second Minister of Defence; Major General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, RBAF Commander; and Brigadier General (Retired) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma’awiah, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence.
Also present were Joint Force Commander, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary, Directors, senior officers; officers and personnel of the Ministry of Defence.
The event was conducted in accordance to the guidelines given by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Religious Affairs to control the spread of COVID-19.
ACARA HALAQAH JUMAAT SEMPENA SAMBUTAN HARI PERKHIDMATAN AWAM KALI KE-27
BOLKIAH GARISON, Jumaat, 2 Oktober 2020 – Kementerian Pertahanan dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) hari ini telah menganjurkan acara Halaqah Jumaat sempena sambutan Hari Perkhidmatan Awam kali ke-27 bertempat di Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garison.
Majlis dimulakan dengan Bacaan Sayyidul Istighfar dan diikuti dengan Tadarus Al-Qur’an, Ratib Al-‘Attas, sembahyang Sunat Dhuha, tazkirah dan Doa Khas Sempena Hari Perkhidmatan Awam ke-27. Tema sambutan Hari Perkhidmatan Awam ke-27 ialah “Perkhidmatan Awam Berintegriti dan Berinovasi Pemangkin Pembangunan Negara”.
Majlis dihadir oleh Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Mejar Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Menteri Pertahanan Kedua; Mejar Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Pemerintah ABDB, dan Brigedier Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma’awiah, Setiausaha Tetap Kementerian Pertahanan.
Turut hadir adalah Pemerintah Angkatan Bersama ABDB; Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap, Pemangku Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap, Pengarah-pengarah, pegawai-pegawai kanan; pegawai-pegawai; anggota dan kakitangan Kementerian Pertahanan.
Majlis telah dilaksanakan mengikuti garis panduan yang ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Kesihatan dan Kementerian Hal Ehwal Ugama bagi mengawal penyebaran COVID-19.
