BOLKIAH GARRISON, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 – The Deputy Minister of Defence, First Admiral (Retired) Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit received a farewell call at the Ministry of Defence from Captain (Navy) Lee Yong Ho, non-resident Defence Attaché of the Republic of Korea (ROK) to Brunei Darussalam, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
During the courtesy call, both sides expressed satisfaction on the cordial bilateral defence relations shared by the two countries, which continue to grow substantially over the years, enhanced by the exchange of visits of defence as well as military officials, and various interactions under the ADMM-Plus framework. During his farewell visit, a Republic of Korea Ship (ROKS) Choi Young is also in Brunei Darussalam for the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus Maritime Security and Counter Terrorism (ADMM-Plus MS & CT) Exercise.
Captain (Navy) Lee Yong Ho expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) for the good working relationship he had enjoyed during his tenure as accredited ROK’s Defence Attaché to Brunei Darussalam.
The Deputy Minister of Defence expressed gratitude to Captain (Navy) Lee Yong Ho for his contribution and wished him well in all future endeavours.
