BOLKIAH GARRISON, Monday 28 October 2019 – The Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held the opening ceremony for the Dikir Maulud 1441H / 2019M celebrations at Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garrison.
Present at the ceremony as the Guest of Honour was the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Brigadier General (Retired) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma’awiah.
Also present were Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Awang Haji Amiruddin bin Haji Mohd Hassan; RBAF Chief of Staff, Captain Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Seruji; senior officers; officers and staff of the Ministry of Defence and RBAF.
The ceremony began with the recitation of al-Quran from Surah Al Ahzab read by Muhd Abdussalam bin Haji Jahari, Imam of Surau Ad-Difa’, RBAF Religious Department followed by mass Maghrib prayers, Dikir Syarifl Anam. The ceremony ended with Dikir Marhaban followed by mass Isyak prayers.
Similar ceremonies also took place in all the mosques and suraus in RBAF camps to usher in the celebration for the birthday of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
PEMBUKAAN MAJLIS SAMBUTAN DIKIR MAULUD 1441H/2019M
BOLKIAH GARISON, Isnin, 28 Oktober 2019 – Majlis Pembukaan Dikir Maulud bagi tahun 1441H / 2019 M bagi Peringkat Kementerian Pertahanan dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah diadakan di Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garison.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat majlis ialah Brigedier Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma’awiah, Setiausaha Tetap, Kementerian Pertahanan.
Turut hadir ialah Awang Haji Amiruddin bin Haji Mohd Hassan, Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap Kementerian Pertahanan; Kepten Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Seruji, Ketua Staf ABDB; pegawai-pegawai kanan; pegawai; serta kakitangan Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB.
Acara dimulakan dengan pembacaan ayat-ayat suci Al-Quran oleh Muhd Abdussalam bin Haji Jahari, Guru Ugama Jabatan Agama ABDB (JAMA’AT). Majlis diteruskan dengan solat Maghrib berjemaah dan Dikir Syarifl Anam. Majlis diakhiri dengan Dikir Marhaban dan doa penutup selepas solat fardhu Isyak berjemaah.
Sambutan Dikir Maulud ini diadakan secara serentak di masjid dan surau seluruh perkhemahan ABDB sempena memperingati Hari Keputeraan Junjungan Besar, Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
