BOLKIAH GARRISON, Monday, 19 November 2018 – A ceremony to mark the conclusion of the 12 consecutive nights of Dikir Maulud was held across all surau of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) camps. The Ministry of Defence held the Dikir Maulud closing ceremony at the Surau Ad-Difa’ in the Bolkiah Garrison this evening.
Present at the event as the guest of honour was Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
Also in attendance were the Permanent Secretary, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, military and civilian directors, officers and staffs of the Ministry of Defence and RBAF.
The ceremony began with the recital of verses from the Al-Qur’an, followed by the Maghrib prayer, and a religious talk on “Tarbiyah Rasulullah Membawa Rahmat Dalam Berkeluarga” by Ustaz Dr. Andas Haji Ismuhadi Bin Haji Abdullah, officer from the Islamic Da’wah Centre, Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The event continued with the Isyak prayer and ended with Dikir Marhaban led by Imam Shuib bin Haji Abdullah, Imam from the Ministry of Defence.
The Dikir Maulud is an annual event held by the Ministry of Defence and RBAF to commemorate the birthday anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUP).
MAJLIS PENUTUP DIKIR MAULUD DI KEMENTERIAN PERTAHANAN DAN ABDB
BOLKIAH GARISON, Isnin, 19 November 2018 – Majlis Penutup bagi Dikir Maulud yang diadakan selama 12 malam berturut-turut telah diadakan secara serentak di semua surau di seluruh perkhemahan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB). Kementerian Pertahanan telah mengadakan majlis penutup Dikir Maulud di Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garison pada malam ini.
Hadir selaku tetamu Kehormat pada majlis tersebut ialah Mejar Jeneral Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei.
Turut hadir pada acara tersebut adalah Setiausaha Tetap, Timbalan-Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap, pengarah-pengarah tentera dan awam, pegawai-pegawai serta kakitangan Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Ayat-Ayat Suci Al-Quran, sembahyang Fardhu Maghrib berjemaah dan diikuti dengan ceramah khas yang bertajuk “Tarbiyah Rasulullah Membawa Rahmat Dalam Berkeluarga” yang disampaikan oleh Ustaz Dr. Andas Haji Ismuhadi Bin Haji Abdullah, penceramah undangan dari Pusat Da’wah Islamiah, Kementerian Hal Ehwal Ugama.
Majlis diteruskan dengan Sembahyang Fardhu ‘Isya berjemaah dan diakhiri dengan Dikir Marhaban yang diketuai oleh Imam Shuib bin Haji Abdullah, Imam dari Kementerian Pertahanan.
Majlis Dikir Maulud tersebut merupakan aktiviti tahunan anjuran Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB sempena memperingati Hari Keputeraan junjungan besar Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam.
