BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 1 December 2017 – A ceremony to mark the conclusion of the 12 consecutive nights of Dikir Maulud was held across the suraus and prayer halls of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) camps. The Ministry of Defence held the Dikir Asyraqal and Sharafil Anam closing ceremony at the Surau Ad-Difa’ in the Bolkiah Garrison.
Joining the congregation was the Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah.
Also present were Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Technology and Development), Joint Force Commander, senior officers, officers and staff of the Ministry of Defence.
The ceremony included a recitation of verses from the Al-Quran, mass Fardhu Maghrib and Fardhu Isyak prayers, as well as a special talk entitled “Rasulullah Qudwah Pemimpin Adil”.
The talk was delivered by Ustaz Dr Andas Haji Ismuhadi bin Haji Abdullah, a guest speaker from the Islamic Dakwah Centre. The Dikir Maulud is an annual event held by the Ministry of Defence and RBAF units to commemorate and celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.
MAJLIS PENUTUP DIKIR MAULUD DI KEMENTERIAN PERTAHANAN DAN ABDB
BOLKIAH GARISON, Jumaat, 1 Disember 2017 – Majlis penutup bagi Dikir Maulud yang diadakan selama 12 malam berturut-turut telah diadakan secara serentak di semua surau di seluruh perkhemahan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB). Manakala, Kementerian Pertahanan mengadakan majlis penutup Dikir Asyraqal dan Sharafil Anam di Surau Ad-Difa ‘, Bolkiah Garison.
Menyertai para jemaah itu ialah Pemerintah ABDB, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Mejar Jeneral Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah.
Turut hadir ialah Pemangku Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap (Teknologi dan Pembangunan), Pemerintah Angkatan Bersama, pegawai-pegawai kanan, serta pegawai-pegawai dan kakitangan Kementerian Pertahanan.
Atucara majlis ini termasuk bacaan ayat-ayat suci Al-Quran, sembahyang Fardhu Maghrib dan Fardhu Isyak serta ceramah khas bertajuk “Rasulullah Qudwah Pemimpin Adil”. Ceramah tersebut telah disampaikan oleh Ustaz Dr Andas Haji Ismuhadi bin Haji Abdullah, penceramah jemputan dari Pusat Dakwah Islamiyyah.
Majlis Dikir Maulud tersebut merupakan aktiviti tahunan anjuran Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB serta unit-unitnya sempena memperingati dan menyambut Hari Keputeraan junjungan besar Nabi Muhammad (SAW).
