BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday 3 March 2016 – The Deputy Minister of Defence, First Admiral (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit received a courtesy call at the Ministry of Defence from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden to Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency Håkan Jevrell, who resides in Singapore.
During the courtesy call, both sides discussed on regional and international issues and their commitment to strengthen existing bilateral defence relations.
Brunei Darussalam had established diplomatic relations with Sweden in 1984. Over the years, Brunei Darussalam and Sweden’s bilateral relationship continues to grow and efforts will continue to strengthen defence ties between the two countries.
