BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 26 February 2016 – The Deputy Minister of Defence, First Admiral (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit received a farewell call from Major General Hoo Cher Mou, Chief of Air Force, Republic of Singapore Air Force this morning at Bolkiah Garrison, Ministry of Defence.
During the courtesy call, both sides expressed satisfaction on the excellent bilateral defence relations shared by the two countries, particularly by the Royal Brunei Air Force and Republic of Singapore Air Force. Both air forces interact regularly through professional exchanges, trainings and courses as well as the annual bilateral exercise, Exercise Air Guard.
Under his tenure, Major General Hoo Cher Mou also oversaw the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Exercise Air Guard that was held in 2014.
Major General Hoo Cher Mou is in Brunei Darussalam for his farewell visit from 25 to 26 February 2016. He is set to retire on 28 March 2016.
