BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday 22 April 2016 – Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received a courtesy call from His Excellency John Subritzky, New Zealand’s non-resident High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam who is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Both sides expressed appreciations on the close bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in the fields of military to military cooperation. Among others, the Commander highlighted in particular the pleasure of working together in the planning and the execution of the upcoming ADMM-Plus Maritime Security and Counter Terrorism Field Exercise in May 2016. Brunei Darussalam and New Zealand are co-chairs of the ADMM-Plus Expert Working Group (EWG) on Maritime Security.

The call ended on a high note with both sides reaffirming their commitments to further strengthening the collaboration between the militaries of both countries.
